Rooted Here. Shaped There.

Where we come from, and where it all begins

Fragrance was part of our world long before KIMAYA had a name.

It was in family gatherings, travel, the way people dressed for dinner, the incense that lingered in a room, and the scents we associated with certain places and people. Some memories stay with us visually, but others return through scent first.

India gave us a sense of ritual, heritage, and the importance of the details that make something feel meaningful. The Middle East shaped the way we understood fragrance as part of everyday identity — something layered into the way you dress, host, arrive, and leave an impression. America gave us the space to interpret those influences in our own way and create something that could live between them.

Over time, those worlds began to overlap. In the places we traveled, the things we wore, the spaces we were drawn to, and the memories we carried home, scent became one of the ways we understood taste.

That intersection is where KIMAYA begins.

Not as one place or one influence, but as a collection of all of them, shaped by where we come from, where we have been, and everything that continues to inspire us along the way.
